0 Calorie Desert: Jaqua Raspberry Buttercream Frosting Collection

A couple of years ago, products that smelled like delicious confections started popping up on shelves. One of my favorites was Jaqua‘s Buttercream Frosting scented line. The jar of body butter that I received was hands down the best gift I received that Christmas, even though it wasn’t the fanciest or most expensive. I was excited to get to try out the newest Jaqua scent, where they took my beloved Buttercream Frosting up a notch and infused it with sweet raspberry. The Raspberry Buttercream Frosting scent is to die for!

I think I wouldn’t particularly care if the products themselves weren’t great, as long as they had that delicious scent, but luckily they are great products too. The body butter is a very thick cream that comes in a jar. It’s my favorite product that Jaqua makes. It is a great hand cream, although it can be a bit on the greasy side – use caution in applying before attempting to write something with a pen and before yoga class – it can get slippery! I also like to use it in the winter as an all over body cream at night. I prefer it at night as it gives the cream time to soak in and the smell a little time to mellow.

The body syrup is another great way to experience this scent. It’s a rich shower gel that works up a good lather and leaves a light scent on your skin. I tried out the lip gloss ring as well, and while I loved the scent in a gloss and the hint of color that it imparts, I think I’m just a bit too old to wear a lip gloss ring. Either toss this one in your bag or make a pre-teen niece very, very happy!
