Your Own Personal McDreamy? Give Him Patrick Dempsey Unscripted

Whether you watch Grey’s Anatomy or not, I think we can all agree that Patrick Dempsey sure is McDreamy. He recently came out with his own fragrance through Avon, called Unscripted.

I gave this fragrance to my husband, since he’s my own personal McDreamy, and I have to say, I think it made him a bit McDreamier. The scent is very different from the usual black narcissus based men’s fragrances that dominate the cologne market. Unscripted describes itself as woody green fragrance, with heart notes of violet leaves, fig and lavender, with top notes of black peppercorn and cardamom and base notes of vetiver, leatherwood, patchouli and musk.

My husband usually only wears fragrances for special occasions, like when we go on a date, but he’s been wearing this scent often – like just for going to work. He did say that for a men’s fragrance it’s pretty light and more floral that usual, but I think that’s what he likes – that he isn’t that guy whose cologne is so strong it can clear a room. I really like that too, while I think the base notes help keep the scent very masculine.

In a heavy rectangular glass bottle with a simple black cap, it’s also very unassuming – which is good for a guy. I don’t know if you’ve noticed ladies, but guys don’t seem to like a lot of frilly bottles cluttering up the sink. I definitely recommend checking out this scent for your man, or your dad or brother or the guy in the next cubicle over who thinks that his body spray smells good (puke!) – it’s a classic fragrance that’s sure to be a hit.
