This product has a very long, but thourough and descriptive name.  Patricia Wexler M.D. Dermatology Fastscription Instant Airbrush Line Smoothing SuperConcealer is a liquid concealer with a hint of shimmer that comes in a pen applicator with a brush tip.  Click on the end of the pen and the product is dispensed down to the brush tip for easy application.

I used this product for a few days on my undereye area and areas of discoloration on my face (mainly red acne scars).  I like the pen dispenser, but it still took some finger blending to apply the product.  In my opinion, the dispenser dispensed a little too much product to use the brush to apply it directly to my face.  I would click the end and dot the product where I needed it and then blend from there.

The shimmer in the product did a good job of making my under eyes appear brighter, and wasn’t too shimmery to draw attention to the spots on my face where it was applied.  I don’t have any lines yet to smooth, so I can’t attest to how well it does that, but the product didn’t settle into the folds around my eyes, so I would imagine it’s equally good on wrinkles.  The product contains anti-agers that should help with minimizing the appears of fine lines with continued use.

A couple of helpful hints for using this product to help it last longer and be easier to apply:
- Store the pen with the brush end up to keep product from running down to the tip.
- Click the pen with the brush end up to limit the amount of product dispensed.
- Do not apply the pen tip to acne effected areas to prevent the acne from spreading.
- Wipe down the applicator tip every few days to keep it clean (I tried running it under water, which ended up forcing water into the tube and made the product runny for a few days.  Using a cotton swap with toner to wipe it down worked much better!)

Have you used this product on your fine lines?  How’s it working?
