Dream of Warm Weather and Get Ready With The Stiletto Survival Kit From Foot Petals

I haven’t worn heels in months – the snowy streets make them a bit impractical – but while I dream about warm weather, I think of the cute sandals I got on sale in the fall and will debut this coming spring! I always have trouble though, the first time I expose my feet to straps and heels after a winter of being swaddled in socks and covered in boots with sensible heels and soles with traction. Even shoes that I wore the previous year will rub and cause blisters, the heels will slip and my calves will be begging for mercy by the end of the day.
I’ve bought products from Foot Petals before, like Heavenly Heelz (a padded, stick-on cushion that helps keep your heel from slipping out of your shoes and rubbing your heel raw) and Sole Stopperz (anti-slip pads that stick to the bottom of your slippery shoes) and they have been a godsend. Usually though, I wear a pair of shoes for a day, hobble home and put them back in my closet for weeks before I get around to finding and buying the cushion, pad or sole stick-on I need to be able to wear them comfortably again. Now you can make like a boy scout and be prepared for you next shoe emergency with the Stiletto Survival Kit from Foot Petals. It contains the aforementioned pair of Heavenly Heelz and two pairs of Sole Stoppers, it also has:
- a pair of Tip Toes (in the shoe, ball-of-foot cushions, with a sticky back, that pad your foot in heels while helping keep them from sliding forward and jamming your toes into your pointy shoes or sandal straps)
- a pair of Full Insoles (a full length cushion with a stick on back, allowing for wear in open toe shoes, that cushion your entire foot.
- four Strappy Strips (thin padded strips that stick onto any strap that slips, slides or rubs you wrong)
- a shoe bag that works great for storage or travel
A few days ago the weather warmed up enough for me to pull out a new pair of ballet flats. I slipped them on and felt them rubbing in the back. Because of some cut-outs they have on the heels, I didn’t want to use the Heavenly Heelz and cover them up, but a Strappy Stip covered the offending seam without covering the cut-outs and I was comfortable all day!
