Cover Your Coin Slot with Miss Oops JAKs

When I was pregnant, I found a really great little wardrobe saver – the Belly Band. It’s a stretchy tube of material that you can wear around your midsection, over your pants and under your shirt. As you start to outgrow your pants, simply unbutton them and the Belly Band helps hold them up, cover the fact that they are unbutton (and later unzipped) and allow you to wear them longer. One thing I loved about it, was that it also allowed me to keep wearing some skirts that were growing shorter and shorter as my belly grew bigger.
I had thought about this idea of a shirt bottom “dickie”, if you will, for some of my current wardrobe – shirts that are a little too short, pants that sit a little to low, when I saw that the maker of all things fix-it, Miss Oops was way ahead of me. The Miss Oops JAKs is similar to the Belly band, but it’s for the non-preggers set. It’s a band of stretchy material that you wear over your pants and under your shirt so that you aren’t showing any skin in between. Love the look of your low cut jeans everywhere but where it gives you a muffin top? Can’t sit down without those low cut jeans making you look like a plumber? Is your shirt just slightly short enough that you don’t want to move your hands up over your head? JAKs is the answer for you! The band of fabric comes in three lacy shades: nude, white and black. They are shaped with a curve so that they fit comfortable around your hips and midsection (now stretching or straining around your hips). They basically make it look like you are wearing a long, lacy cami under your shirt, while hiding that which you don’t wish scene.
Why not just throw on a cami under your shirt, you might ask. For me there are 2 huge benefits to this over a cami. 1. I’m lazy and always in a rush. I’m already dressed by the time I realize my shirt is too short and I really don’t have time to change. I can step into JAKs without changing and voila! Problem solved. 2. A cami won’t stay down around your hips when you sit down or bend over. It’ll ride up with your other shirt, exposing your coin slot, muffin top or anyother skin you don’t want to be showing. I highly recommend you check these out!

There is another company that has gone even one step further called Camibands! They are similiar to the Miss oops Jaks but much less expensive, come in lot’s of great colors like Chocolate, Navy Ink, Pink Passion, Onyx & white. What I like with the Camibands is that you can wear them to extend a shirt, but also under revealing V-Necks tops and over bikini bottoms too! There are even coordinating lace headbands to match. I would definitly check these out and best of all they are made in the good old USA!
