Luxury On The Go: Lisa Hoffman 24 Hour Collections

Lisa Hoffman has created some ingenious, single use, portable packettes of her popular spa beauty products. She has taken a line of products, put a dose of each one in a little plastic ampule and slipped the whole line into a ziplock plastic pouch. Can you say airplane travel friendly?

I recently went on a weekend trip to visit family. Now that I share a suitcase with my daughter, I’m even more cramped for space than I used to be. My toiletries bag is embarassingly large and I’m always looking for ways to cut down on its size without cutting out any products. I took Lisa Hoffman’s Spa Shower Collection to cover some of my skincare needs. This set comes with a cleansing gel, body scrub, body oil, body lotion and hand and foot butter. This italian bergamot, spiced ginger and warm amber scented Japanese Agarwood set comes in light blue colored ampules that snap apart and come in a resealable plastic packet (always nice to have, just in case, when traveling by plane – no leaks if they burst open). Although each ampule is supposed to hold only one use of each product, I found that they each lasted all weekend (3 showers) and still had product in them when I had to toss the rest before leaving. And I didn’t skimp on how much I used. I didn’t get to use all of the products, but used the cleansing gel, body scrub and body oil. The cleanser has a good lather, the scrub was thurough without being too rough and the body oil went on dry and absorbed quickly.

The nice scent of the products also made wearing a fragrance unnecessary (one less item to pack!). These sets are also a nice way to test out products before buying them. You can also try the Spa Bath Collection which comes with body soap, body wash, body polisher, body cream and hand and foot butter. It has the lily and tuberose scents of Madagascar Orchid and comes in light green ampules. And for your face, there is the 10 ampule pack of  Night and Day skincare. It comes with a cleanser, toner, day moisturizer with SPF 15, day eye cream and day lip conditioner for the day time and a night cleanser, vitamin A & C serum, night cream, night eye cream and night lip serum for the evening. Just think of how much space that can save in your luggage without skipping any products! You may just be able to take a carry-on bag after all!
