I like to spend lots of time outside during the summer. Although I’m pretty good about sun protection, I often loose track of time and forget to reapply. I’ve started using little tricks to make sure my skin is protected, like using products that already contain an SPF, so I don’t have to remember to wear a separate sunscreen. You can find it in everything these days and I applaud all of the companies that are thinking to add it. I’ve got it in my body lotion, face lotion, foundation and lip balm.

Recently, I tried out Smashbox’s Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss with SPF 15.  This is great! Normally I put on lipstick in the morning and coat it with an SPF lip balm. I reapply the lip balm throughout the day, but not the lipstick. Now I can have my color and my sun protection! It comes in 6 great shades – I’ve been sporting Endless Kiss. Smashbox calls it a sheer plum color, but it looks more pink to me. It also has a great iridescent shimmer. It is one of the darker shades that they offer, but it goes on super sheer and leaves only a hint of color. It also smells like berries – yum!

Honestly, I didn’t time it to see if it lasted 6 hours, but I didn’t feel the need to apply until after lunch the first day I wore it. My lips did feel nice and moisturized and walking in the wind, my hair didn’t stick to my lips. Lipgloss success!
