Unless you are one of the lucky few who have no trouble passing out anywhere, you’ve probably had trouble sleeping when away from home. You’re in a strange place with a bed that doesn’t feel like yours. Especially if you’ve just been traveling, it can be hard to wind down even if you are exhausted. I found a great little helper the last time I went out of town: Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy in Lavender Cammomile Body Wash (& Foam Bath) and Body Lotion.
I always like to take a shower when I arrive at my destination. Clean off that yucky travel film and feel refreshed. I had picked up this travel sized body wash and lotion because they were conveniently travel sized and I liked the smell: a sweet vanilla-y lavender. I hadn’t really even considered the aromatherapy aspect when I packed them, but after using them, I felt super relaxed.
The Body Wash was great in the shower – not too strongly scented and with a good lather. The lotion was of medium thickness and lightly scented. It absorbed quickly and moisturized well. It’s scent was subtle enough to catch a whiff of, and didn’t smell too strongly of lavender. Not only did I feel almost immediately more relaxed, but I slept better than usual on my parent’s slightly too small and squeaky guest bed.
