Get Fresh With C.O. Bigelow Lemon & Pomegranate Body Scrub and Lemon & Lime Body Souffle Toning Citrus Formula

I just tried some of the most refreshing bath products from C.O. Bigelow: Lemon & Pomegranate Body Scrub and Lemon & Lime Body Souffle Toning Citrus Formula. After a hot, exhausting day working in my gardens, I came in for a shower. The Body Scrub is made with 1% lemon extract and 1% pomegranate extract and smells like a strawberry daiquiri (or maybe raspberry sorbet). The scent alone is incredibly refreshing, but combined with a fine grain scrub, it was incredible to use on my hot, dry, dirty skin. There is a lot of exfoliating granules in this scrub, so a palm full was enough to scrub me down head to foot (really shoulders to feet – it seemed a little to rough to try on my face). The scrub rinses clean pretty quickly and I wasn’t left with any stray granules stuck to my skin. The lemon is meant to brighten and the pomegranate to fight free-radicals. I didn’t notice any extra brightening beyond the regular removing of dulling dead skin cells that an exfoliator gives and free-radical fighting is really something you can see in a short period of time. But oooh they sure do smell delish!

The Body Souffle is is made with 1% lemon oil and extract and 1% lime Extract. Its a super lightweight moisturizer that feels nice and cool when applied to your skin and has an incredible citrus scent. The lemon in this formula is also meant to brighten and the lime to tone skin. I’ve only used this a few times, so I can really attest to those attributes, but the formula is a great moisturizer for the summer months: the scent is refreshing, but doesn’t linger too long, it’s lightweight and absorbs quickly and keeps your skin nice and soft all day.

Two thumbs up C.O. Bigelow chemists! I think I need to take another shower….
