Look Bright-Eyed And Bushy Tailed With Rohto Eye Drops

Whitening eye drops used to feature heavily in my beauty routine in college. Late nights and refusal to wear my glasses even when my contacts felt like rocks in my eyes, left my eyes dry and tired looking. At some point I gave them up, and haven’t really used them in about 5 years. I live in a very dry climate and wearing contacts usually leaves my eyes a little bloodshot by the end of the day. For whatever reason, I’ve haven’t really thought about it in relation to my beauty routine. I got a sample of Rhoto Eye Drops a couple weeks ago, and like someone who has used a teeth whitening kit for the first time, I didn’t know I could look so good (and conversely, was I looking really bad before?).

These eyedrops come in a unique packaging – a flattened oval shaped bottle with a pop off lid. The flat shape is super convenient for slipping them in your pocket – no bulging bottle here. They come in 4 varieties, each adding something more to the formula:

Hydra cools and lubricates dry eyes
Cool cools, lubricates and relieves redness
Arctic cools, lubricates, relieves redness and sooths eye strain
Ice cools, lubricates, relieves redness and sooths itching and irritation

I’ve been using Cool. I’m still getting used to the “cooling” sensation. It doesn’t burn, but feels like you got mint in your eyes. It only lasts a second and then my eyes look really clear. The only bummer I’m finding is that you aren’t supposed to use them with contacts. I’ve been using them in the morning if my eyes are feeling dried out, before I put my contacts in or after I take my contacts out at the end of a long day. My eyes look really clear and don’t leave them feeling dry like other whitening drops I’ve used in the past. It’s just too bad I can’t use them during the day.
