Big, Shiny Lips With Givenchy Gloss Interdit Ultra-Shiny Color Plumping Effect

Givenchy has added a new lip gloss to its Interdit line. Gloss Interdit Ultra-Shiny Color Plumping Effect is a sleek little lip gloss whose shimmery formula makes your lips look plumper. A lot of lip glosses seem the same as the next these days, so it was nice to try this one out and see that it’s a little bit different and a little bit special. The square tube immediately makes it stand out and look different from other glosses. So does the scent – the light, sweet fragrance is composed of top notes of bergamot, litchi, and red fruit; middle notes of rose, jasmine, and lily of the valley; and base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and musk. Like fragrance for your lips!

The formula is applied with a brush applicator – a nice touch for getting an accurate edge – and is very light and not at all sticky. The 15 shades all have a glassy, shimmery finish that makes your lips look fuller. The gloss is also super moisturizing. I forgot that I’d put it on when, hours later I thought, did I just put on lip balm? I don’t remember putting on lip balm? And then remembered the gloss – it didn’t dry out or wear off at all!

With back to school time happening now, I can feel fall just around the corner. Although these glosses come in lots of bright, summery shades, I was checking out Delectable Brown and Sensual Chocolate – too great brownish colors that made me think of hot cocoa and sweaters!
