As my life gets more hectic, I’ve been having trouble keeping my nails done. I just don’t have the time to sit through a full manicure and dry time either at the salon or at home. I’m forever impatient to get to the next thing and inevitably smudge my nails. Rimmel 60 Seconds Vinyl Shine Nail Polish sounds like the answer to my problems, so I gave a few colors a go.

The nail polish bottle says that it’ll dry in 60 seconds, only needs one coat applied and has a super shiny finish. I tested Princess Pink, a pale pink, and  Delicous Dark, a deep purple. The 60 second dry time and super shiny finish are no joke! With the Princess Pink I was able to paint all my nails in 1 minute and the last one was dry a minute later – a 2 minute manicure! The light color made it easy to do a quick brush on, but with Delicous Dark, I took a little more care as to not color outside the lines. Princess Pink end up drying almost clear with one coat. Delicous Dark looked okay with one coat, but I think 2 coats really gave good coverage and gave the color depth. But with the quick drying time, adding a second coat is really no big deal.

Day 4 and I’m experiencing my usual wearing away at the tips like I do most manicures, but haven’t had any chips. The polish is still super shinny, making it look like I just had my nails done. I’m definitley loving this polish. I love being able to change the color quickly and not feel like I have to commit to it for more than a few days. I can wear that Green With Envy green polish on the weekend and take it off before heading to the office on Monday morning.  I also love the quick pulled together look of the Princess pink when I literally only have 2 minutes to spare. And at less than $4 bucks each, you can afford to wear a new color every day.
