ShineThis one can be a big money saver! Instead of buying all new darker lipsticks for fall and winter, why not just make your current fave shades darker? Lipstick Queen’s Black Tie Optional Shine Gloss can do just that. This sheer black gloss is worn over your lipstick to make it darker and add shine. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but now I’m a believer.

This gorgeous pot of gloss, looks like something your neighbor’s goth teen would wear, but one you dip your finger in, you’ll see that it really is sheer. The gloss in the pot is super soft, but once it’s applied, it isn’t at all sticky. It actually added a great amount of moisture to my lips and made them look vinyl shiny. So then I had to get out all my lipsticks and a box of tissues to test how it could change each shade. It definitely worked better with brighter shades. Pale shades didn’t change much and looked like I was wearing the gloss alone.

Reds turned burgundy, pinks turned mauve. And you can wear the gloss alone. It gave a bit of a goth-lite look. Maybe I’ll go as a character from Twighlight for halloween!
