Triple The Fun With Lorac’s 3’s A Crowd Collection

Lorac has been crushing it lately with their killer collections. Not only are the collections filled with great product, but they are really, really affordable. The latest I checked out, 3’s A Crowd is filled with 3 sets of 3 different products, giving you 9 fun cosmetics to play with or 9 great stocking stuffers for very little cash.

The 3 products are Lip Polish, Glam Rocks (eyeshadow) and Lipticks. At first, I thought it had nail polish in it because the lip polishes look like mini nail polishes. The tiny bottles even have a nail polish brush for an applicator. The lip polish is a super shiny gloss that is super moisturizing and not at all sticky. I can’t pick a favorite out of the three colors: Sizzle is a sheer red that gives you stand out lips, Delicious is a sheer purple that flatters my fair skin nicely and Bliss is a shimmery nude that paired well with the smokey eyes I got from the Glamrocks.

Glamrocks is a very messy, but beautiful looking loose mineral powder eyeshadow in a shaker bottle. I never did figure out how to apply this without making a mess on my vanity. I carefully opened the bottles and used an eyeshadow brush to wipe off the powder that had spilled out inside the cap. Applied, they make a super smooth shimmery lid. The Copper gave me a great smokey eye “lite”, while the Gold and Pearl made my eyes look bright as an all over color or a highlighter. Even though the jar is messy, once applied, the shadow stayed put all day – even when I forgot I was wearing it an rubbed my eyes.

The 3 lipsticks are 1 Cream Lipstick in Tango, a slightly shimmery red-brown and 2 Matte Lipsticks in Imagine, a rosey nude and Explore, a bright red. All are super moisturizing and all flattered my skin tone. Tango is a great deep, winter color and the Mattes are very now. Imagine is a perfect I’m-not-wearing-lipstick color and Explore is a classic silver screen siren’s red The great thing about these mattes is that they don’t dry out or look chalky. Besides being in fashion right now, mattes are great for those of you who aren’t into all of the shimmery and shiny lipsticks out there. The key though to mattes, is to make sure your lips are super smooth before applying it, as flakes are easily highlighted by the formula (trick: cover you lips in vaseline or other thick balm and rub a  teaspoon of brown sugar over them. Wipe off with a warm, damp cloth).

The super great thing is that this set is selling for only $19.50. It looks like the deal is coming from all of the products being discontinued, but don’t let that deter you. The colors are still awesome. I originally had thought I’d break up the products into sets of one product each to give to 3 friends as stocking stuffers, but I’m having trouble parting with them.
