My New Favorite Eyeliner: Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Forever Stay Eye Pencil

I’ve been reviewing a lot of Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy products lately and thought, ho hum another to try, when I got the Forever Stay Eye Pencil from my PR rep to test out. Eye pencils are pretty basic, but finding a good one can be a life long quest. This one is one of the best I’ve tested in a looong time!

The formula comes in a pencil, but is more like a thick, creamy gel. It glides on sooo smoothly and rich that I over did it the first time I tried it out. Granted, I was testing Deep Black – the darkest color offered, when I usually wear less intense shades on my fair complexion. I tried to tone it down my wiping some off with a cotton swab, but it stayed put. It looked like liquid liner when applied, but didn’t dry out or fade all day. I had to use some serious eye makeup remover to wipe it off at night. When they named it Forever Stay, they weren’t kidding.

The no budge formula could have been disasterous – remember the first 50 times you tried to apply liquid liner and got a shaky uneven mess? This could have been like that, but it glides on so quickly and easily that you get a flawless line. I’ve been rocking the Deep Black – applied with a light touch and subtle other makeup – but am definitely going to check out the Chocolate Brown (great for blue eyes), Deep Jade (great for hazel eyes), Pure Plum (great for green eyes) and Blue Indigo (great for brown eyes) too.
