The Only Eye Cream You’ll Ever Need? Rodial Glamtox Eye Light SPF 15

Every time a press release for Rodial’s Glamtox Eye Light SPF 15 eye cream came across my inbox, I’d casually ask my PR rep for a sample to try. She was always out! I knew she wasn’t blowing me off though. Every time I searched for Rodial products, Beauty.com was sold out (as of press time they have this product in stock)! This celebrity fave from across the pond is in seriously high demand!

So I was super excited to try the eye cream out. It’s one of those eye creams that has everything you want in it: lighten dark circles, reduce puffiness and fight the signs of aging with an SPF. The cream comes in a fancy silver pump bottle, that helps you dispense just a tiny bit of product. The texture is light and absorbs quickly. It left my skin smooth for applying concealer and shadow and didn’t leave a greasy surface for them to slip off of like some eye creams do.

I used this eye cream during a particularly stressful week at work, just before Christmas. I was having trouble sleeping and my eyes where puffy every morning. I mentioned my sleeplessness and stress to a co-worker, who replied, “but you look great!” The puffiness did certainly improve after applying the cream. It’s been too short a period of time to judge if it helped “visibly reduce dark circles” or “diminish the appearance of crows feet”. I do appreciate the SPF to help protect from sundamage though. The only downside I can see to this product, besides not helping your claims of fatigue match your appearance is the price tag. At $129, it’s definitely a luxury product. But if the celebrity clientelle and wait lists are any indication, it might be worth every penny.
