Valentine’s For Your Baby: California Baby I Love You Spritzer

California Baby is one of those great lines of products that even though it might seem like it’s just for babies, you’re gonna love it too. Many of the products are formulated for sensitive skin, making them perfect for babies, but smelling nice enough for adults to use as well. Before my daughter was born, I tested out some of their products, ostensibly for the soon to be arriving baby, but really loved using them myself.

The latest we tried it the I Love You Spritzer. The I Love You collection has cute packaging with hearts, making it a fun Valentines gift. And a portion of the sales of I Love You products go to Breast Cancer Research Programs. The scent is a combination of sweet orange, french lavender and ylang ylang designed to help relax you (or your baby) and help relieve tension. The Spritzer is really a multi-functional product. You can use it on linens to freshen them and help with relaxation. You can use it as a room air freshener or even spritz it directly on yourself.

The scent is lighter than most aromatherapy products I’ve tried. It smells faintly citrus-y and slightly herb-y. I imagine that if you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to smells, that this product could work well for you. Personally, I wish the scent was a little stronger. Spraying it on linens or in my daughters slightly stinky room, helped them smell fresher, but not distinctly of any discernible scent. Spritzing my face was very cooling and refreshing, but the scent disappeared a few seconds after spritzing.
