It’s easy to tell when I haven’t had enough sleep – which is often – by the bags under my eyes. I’ve tried tightening creams that seems to suck the moisture out of your skin, leaving things feeling tight and uncomfortable while not always doing any actual depuffing. Erno Laszlo’s Total Skin Revitalizer For Eyes does the opposite – adding moisture. I definitely like the feel of wearing it much better.

The website refers to this product as a serum (and suggests using it before eye cream) but it seems like an eye cream to me. The formula is light and creamy and easy to apply. It absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue and my concealer stuck well to it well throughout the day. I felt it provided enough moisture as to not need a separate eye cream. After a week of using it morning and night, I’ve noticed a slight decrease in the bags under my eyes. I had been having trouble with the skin around my eyes getting dry in the winter air and getting flaky in spots. Now it’s very soft and well hydrated.

The literature with this product says that it contains:

A complex of antioxidant vitamins, essential fatty acids and natural plant extracts soothes, tones and protects the most vulnerable area around the eyes

It has definitely soothed and some toning is noticeable. Hopefully it’s also protecting me from future wrinkles too!
