BOGO With ybf Xtreme Water Resistant Mascara Duo

ybf stands for “your best friend” and is a makeup line sold on HSN. The Xtreme Water Resistant Mascara Duo isn’t the dual ended mascara you might be thinking about when you see “duo”, rather you get two tubes of mascara in one package – presumably one for you and one for your best friend. The mascara is a creamy formula with a curved brush applicator. The brush does a great job of applying the formula to the lashes without clumping and is a great tool for coating all of the lashes from the inside corners to the outside lashes.

The formula wears soft, with the vitamin E and beeswax keeping lashes flexible and shiny looking. It didn’t flake at all throughout the day, but it did smudge pretty easily and then since it is water resistant, stuck to my skin and was hard to wipe off. Washing off was a challenge too. Most waterproof mascaras I’ve tried wash off with my usual face wash, but this formula required makeup remover to get it off.
