Get Glowing With Beauty For Real’s Cheek Tint And Luminizer

Although I get a little bit of color in the summer, the effect is usually a bit uneven and I still wear powder to even things out. Once the powder is on, any natural glow gets masked, so I add a light wash of blush. I think Beauty For Real had this same idea in mind when they created their Get Glowing! Cheek Tint and Luminizer. This cream-to-powder blush and highlighter duo compact gives a very natural looking glow. I checked out the Afterglow/Goldrush duo which has a bronze-y blush and sheer gold highlighter.

The compact has a fun design, with the blush swinging out of the bottom and a mirror lid flipping open to reveal the highlighter. The formula of the products contains Luminera, a diamond core complex, that reflects light, grape seed extract, antioxidants and Vitamin E. I’m usually not a fan of creamy blushes as they seem to clog my pores, but this wasn’t typical of the cream blushes I’ve used in the past. I applied just a little with my fingertips and the creamy formula seemed to turn into a silky powder on my cheeks.

Even with a little summer sun, I’m still very fair skinned, so Afterglow was a little dark on me unless I used a light touch. I also used both the blush and highlighter as an eye shadow, which looked really great. Get Glowing is also available in In the Pink/Get Lit, a rosy pink blush and pink shimmer highlighter.
