Convenient, Mess Free Moisturizer: Smith & Vandiver Aromatherapaes Moisture Balm
I was super excited to receive some samples of Smith & Vandiver’s new(ish) Aromatherapaes Moisture Balms a couple weeks back. One of the first samples I received when I started this blog was a similar moisture balm stick. I used it down to the point of scraping the end of the tube out. A few other samples like this have come in over the last (almost) 4 years and each has gotten completely used up. How many products can you say that about?
Moisture Balm sticks like this look like an oversized chapstick tube, but is filled with a solid moisturizer. It is super convenient to pop in your purse, desk drawer, gym bag, airplane carry-on, etc. I love using them to spot treat super dry areas, like elbows or to put moisturizer on the back of my hands without getting my palms all greasy. They last a long time and I’ve recently found that they are great to use on squirmy babies and toddlers who won’t sit still.
Smith & Vandiver’s Moisture Balms come in a Refreshing Moisture, an energizing vanilla orange scent, and Soothing Moisture, a relaxing neroli and lavender scent. I can’t pick a fave between the two, using Refreshing in the morning and day time and Soothing in the evening and before bed. Both are made with shea and cocoa butters, besswax and sweet almond oil to moisturize. They are certified natural by the Natural Products Association and are free of parabens and synthetic fragrance. At $5.99 each, they are a great deal!
