Contest: Win The New Infiniti Pro by Conair Volume Boost 1875-Watt AC Motor 2-in-1 Styling Tool
Although the name of this product may win the prize for most complicated hair dryer name ever, this compact dryer is not at all complicated to use. This new hair dryer from Conair is a super powerful dryer with a volumizing attachment. This dryer ticks all the boxes for things you want in a dryer: even heating ceramic, ionizer to help smooth frizz, long lasting AC motor and a pocket friendly price (about $40). The 2-in-1 comes from the concentrator attachment, which is pretty standard with most dryers, and a new volumizing pik.
I used the dryer without either attachment to dry my hair after showering. Although the dryer looks small without the attachment, it isn’t lighter than your average dryer – maybe just a little easier to maneuver. The toggle switches give you high and low speed settings and cool, warm and hot temperature settings. There is also a true cool shot button that shuts off the heating element to give you truly cool air to finish your style.
After getting hair mostly dry, I added the volumizing pik attachment, pressing it into my hair as I lifted the dryer up and out. As someone who still hasn’t master the round brush / hair dryer styling technique, this was a great way to get that lift at the roots I usually only get with a salon blow out. A coworker asked if I’d gotten a hair cut, saying “you’ve done something different with your hair. It looks really good!”
